JROX-JAM Review

JAM, JROX's Affiliate Management software has an extensive feature that list goes on and on. It seems almost too good to be true, especially with its generous free trial offer. Since JAM is still not as widely used and trusted as its more established competitors, such as PostAffiliatePro, the jury is still out on whether it is a serious choice as an affiliate program software.

Pros

As noted above, JROX's list of features is probably beyond any other affiliate software in its price range. (Though PostAffiliatePro has a few more.) It basically does everything you would expect, in terms of commissions and affiliate management. I am not going to list every feature here, just a few that stand out and are not offered by the competition. JAM allows you to offer you affiliates a particularly large range of marketing tools: banner ads, text ads, text links, hover ads, affiliate article ads and more. These are neatly organized in a drop-down menu in the affiliate panel. It also includes a built-in banner rotator – which has been shown to increase banner clicks. Below is a screen-shot of JAM's simple, user-friendly admin panel.

It has some very neat affiliate management tools: it helps you create a series of affiliate training and motivation emails. It sends monthly email reports to your affiliates. There is an automatic sign-up module for turning customers into affiliates automatically. These kinds of things will help you build a good relationship with your affiliates, and motivate them to sell for you. Another huge plus of JAM is their free version – it is fully functional – except that you can only have up to 50 affiliates. This is more than a free trial – this is free affiliate program software! Basically, by the time you upgrade to their paid program, you will have 50  affiliates and the resulting boost in your earnings should more than pay for the software.

Cons

I'm not that impressed with their affiliate interface. It could present the basic information and stats on the home page, rather than sending you searching for it. But after a few minutes figuring it out, it becomes easier to use. Also, while offering a lot of features, JAM does not seem to be as robust and well-maintained as other top affiliate software options on the market. That's just my opinion. Fee free to disagree!

Cost

The listed price for JAM is $250 one-time license fee plus an optional $25 for installation. However, don't buy straight from their site. Instead sign-up for their free version. They will then send you an email with a link to download the program. When you click on that link, it will take you to a page with a special offer of the software for just $125 including FREE installation and host of bonus extras to help you get your affiliate program started. This is an incredible deal! On the other hand, if you choose to start with their free version, you will not be offered this special deal again. So if you do plan on opening a full-blast affiliate program (i.e. with hundreds of affiliates) it is certainly worthwhile to take up this money-saving offer at the outset. Don't worry – they have a money-back guarantee so the risk is still low.

Recommendation

JROX/JAM is an extremely tempting option: the features are all promised, the price is right, the risk is low. However, bear in mind that JAM is not as popular as other established options, such as Post Affiliate Pro and iDevAffiliate , For more details, visit the JAM site.
